ed’i’s main aim is offering a professional, high quality teaching service. The groups are small (between 4 and 8 students maximum, 6 if they are children between 4 and 5). We give special relevance to communicative activities.
The DOS carries out regular class observation throughout the year and an evaluation test is given to students at the end of the first term to be able to take their opinion into account.
New material is bought every year after careful research of resources available. ed’i teachers attend seminars held both in Girona and Barcelona.
Children and teenagers are given a report every term with a summary of the syllabus that has been covered as well as information on their progress.
Company students also receive three reports a year detailing the syllabus covered and progress made.
All the teachers at ed’i are fully qualified and have vast professional experience. Some are native and others aren’t. Some of our teachers are more specialised in teaching children and teenagers and others in teaching adults. The DOS bears that in mind when distributing the classes in order to offer the best possible quality.
Students come in groups, children, adolescents and adults. The groups are
small (between four and 8 students). We consider age, the level of English and the child’s maturity. We give all our students an entrance test when they come to enrol at the school. The first month and a half the teacher will be assessing the student’s level and will suggest a change of class if necessary.
